Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Grimshaw Berwyn Community Home Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Home Nursing team. You will deliver client-centred care in patients' homes, collaborating with an interprofessional team to support health, independence and comfort.

The role is casual/relief with shifts that vary in length, offering a competitive hourly rate and eligibility for the Northern Incentive Program up to 0$3,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

• Provide nursing care and support services in clients' homes.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to support health, independence and quality of life.
• Maintain patient and family centred care in alignment with legislation, standards, policies and procedures.

ALA currently has a Northern Incentive Program Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
