Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join Home Care in Beaverlodge Public Health Centre. You will provide patient- and family-centred care as part of an interprofessional team, guided by nursing processes and standards.

This 1.00 FTE temporary full-time position runs with a days/weekends shift pattern and a 7.75-hour shift, with a remote retention allowance for eligible hours. Requires LPN with CLHA and BCLS-HCP.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

• Provide safe, high quality, patient and family centred care within an interprofessional health care team.
• Follow nursing processes, reflect on practice and adhere to applicable standards, policies and procedures.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, ALA currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
