Specsavers Brampton is seeking a Licensed Optician to help customers choose eyewear that fits their visual needs and lifestyle. You will guide frame and lens selections and work closely with retail and clinical teams to ensure a high-quality eyecare experience.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Opticians and hold a valid Dispensing Optician License in your province.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in optical dispensary.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and stay organized.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in understanding their visual needs and interpreting prescriptions.
• Guide frame and lens selections for comfort, style, and fit.
• Perform dispensing measurements using digital tools and conduct quality assurance checks on eyewear.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments, and current promotions.
• Manage after-care, resolve complaints with effective problem-solving techniques.
• Support contact lens recommendations and promotions.
• Handle third-party billing professionally.
• Coach teammates in optical knowledge and skills.
• Maintain store operations: cleanliness, inventory, and brand standards.
