Job summary
Atlantic Packaging is seeking a Licensed Millwright 433A for our Whitby, ON facility. This on-site, full-time role focuses on preventive maintenance, machine installation and troubleshooting of conveyors and equipment. The successful candidate will read mechanical drawings, perform repairs, and maintain documentation in CMMS while ensuring safety and quality in every task.
Qualifications
- Must hold Ontario 433A license or Red Seal Journeyman certification.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot mechanical systems and conveyors using manuals, diagrams and blueprints.
- Install new machines and equipment.
- Utilize CMMS documentation.
- Repair and replace pumps, valves and motors as needed.
- Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment per health, safety and PPE policies.
