The Opportunity

Certified Millwright – hourly wage $46.80.

What You’ll Do

• Focus on minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and good troubleshooting techniques.
• Prepare maintenance reports by making recommendations as necessary for improvements.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending education workshops.
• Repair and replace pumps, valves, motors, etc.
• Perform quality checks on all work performed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain documentation as required by Atlantic Packaging.
• Utilize documentation in CMMS.
• Install new machines and equipment.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and other duties as assigned.
• Inform production workers of routine mechanical preventive maintenance plans.

What You Bring

• Must have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License – 433A.
• Red Seal Journeyman certification.
• Level 3, 4 and 5 Apprentice.
• Minimum 2‑3 years previous experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Exposure to mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting.
• All‑position welding preferred (stainless steel pipe, guard repairs, etc.).
