Job summary

Polar Performance Materials in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Licensed Millwright (433A) to join our maintenance team in a high-purity manufacturing environment. This on-site role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, with basic electrical knowledge considered an asset.

Work arrangement: Tuesday to Saturday, 2:30 p.m.–11 p.m., at a competitive hourly rate of 40–45 CAD; full benefits offered and opportunities for growth within a safety‑conscious

Qualifications

Licensed Millwright (433A) is required.
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Basic understanding of electrical systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical systems.
Perform alignment, calibration, and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective maintenance efficiently.
Support installation, relocation, and modification of equipment.
Assist with commissioning of new machinery and systems.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
