Seaboard Transport Group in Mount Pearl, NL is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our close-knit team. The role focuses on maintenance, repairs, and preventative service of our fleet, with emphasis on safety, accuracy in work orders, and professional communication with colleagues.

Competenze

• Red Seal certification as a truck/trailer mechanic (required).
• B620 inspector experience is an asset (not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers in daily work.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.

We’re currently seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our teams in Mount Pearl, NL.

Location: Mount Pearl, NL

Pay Range: $38 - $44 / hour based off experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
