Seaboard Transport Group in Mount Pearl, NL is seeking Apprentice Mechanics to join our family‑owned team. You’ll perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, following safety standards and completing electronic work orders.

Qualifications

• Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers for digital work orders.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

We’re currently seeking Apprentice Mechanics to join our teams in Mount Pearl, NL.

Location: Mount Pearl, NL

Pay Range: $26 - $40 / hour based of experience

Your Role:

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
