Job summary

The Seaboard Transport Group in North York, ON is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our close-knit team. You’ll perform maintenance and repairs to safety standards, participate in meetings, complete electronic work orders, and diagnose issues with strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings and communicate findings.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay current with work-related training and development opportunities.

Your Role:

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work‑related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
