Armour Transport Group is seeking Licensed Mechanics to join our Dartmouth, NS team for night shifts. The role demands strong mechanical skills, a Red Seal certification, and familiarity with truck/trailer systems.

You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and inspections while contributing to safety and efficiency. We offer competitive wages, tool and boot allowances, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• Licensed truck/trailer mechanic with Red Seal certification.
• B620 inspector experience is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.

• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers or welding is an asset.

We’re currently seekingLicensed Mechanics to join our teams in Dartmouth, NS.

Location: Dartmouth, NS

Shift/Schedule: Night Shifts

Pay Range: $38 - $42 / hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Red Seal certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
