Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking 3rd and 4th year apprentice mechanics to join our Moncton, NB team. You will perform maintenance and repairs following safety standards, participate in meetings, and communicate findings clearly while keeping a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic (3rd or 4th year) or 2 years of experience.
• Experience as a B620 inspector is an asset.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean workspace.
• Diagnose issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and annual motor vehicle inspections.
• Stay up to date with work-related training and development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table

• Apprentice certification as a truck and/or trailer mechanic 3rd or 4th year or 2 years experience.
• Experience as a B620 inspector (an asset but not required).
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• High level of professionalism and teamwork.
• Additional experience with tankers, trucks, dry vans, reefers, or welding is an asset.
