Job summary

Winpak Portion Packaging in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to join our team. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems to sustain peak productivity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Millwright, Ontario 433A license, ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings, and experience with lock-out/tag-out. The shift is 8 hours daytime with potential rotation; on-site work in Rexdale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Millwright in manufacturing.
• Must be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
• Knowledge of LOCK-OUT/TAG-OUT procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and conducts preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Repair/replace defective machinery parts, perform equipment adjustment, and fabricate parts when required.
• Perform routine maintenance work including inspection, identification and correction of abnormalities on equipment.
• Accurately close work orders and complete preventive maintenance work as scheduled.
• Perform production equipment tooling changeovers and line sanitation tasks.
