Ward and Burke in East Gwillimbury, ON seeks a 421a Licensed Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems on site. The role includes maintenance, generator and heavy machinery service, and strict safety adherence.

This full-time position offers a day shift with potential evenings and weekends, a benefits package after probation, and a company vehicle for site visits.

Qualifications

• Red Seal or equivalent trade certification is required.
• Experience on construction sites, farms, or mining with heavy machinery is preferred.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics and electronics.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic/electrical systems and diesel engines.
• English language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.
• Repair and service generators, excavators, lighting towers, compressors and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Service attachments and tools such as blades, ploughs, winches and booms.
