Job summary

Wajax Limited is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose, service and repair heavy equipment, engines, and hydraulic systems, primarily on-site at customer locations or during road-side assistance. The role requires trade-certified technicians with strong customer service and mechanical problem-solving abilities.

You will diagnose, repair, recondition components, and maintain service records while complying with Health & Safety programs. Training may occur during or after work hours.

Qualifications

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, analysis and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge: strong customer service and ability to work with customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose components and equipment for servicing needs.
• Service and repair equipment in the shop and on-site for the customer.
• Recondition and remanufacture components as required for equipment, engine and hydraulic repairs.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers.
• Complete work orders and service paperwork.
• Maintain service records and update warranty information.
• Participate in required Health & Safety training and follow safety programs.

Trade certification, Journeyman Red Seal
