Job summary

Clean Harbors Corunna, Ontario is seeking a Licensed Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) to join our safety-conscious team. This role handles repairs and preventive maintenance for our fleet—including trucks, tractors, trailers and heavy equipment—on customer sites where needed.

The union position offers $45.06 per hour, with a 6:30am–3:00pm Monday to Friday schedule, plus comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, RRSP with company matching after 90 days, an employee stock purchase

Qualifications

• Licensed/ Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (421A) preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience as Off-road Technician/Mechanic with dozers, excavators and rock trucks.
• Hydraulics knowledge and ability to use diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Complete Field Level Hazard and Job Hazard assessments.
• Inspect equipment and identify needed repairs.
• Work independently on customer sites when required.
• Perform routine maintenance on Dozers, Excavators and Rock Trucks.
• Diagnose, repair equipment and light/heavy-duty vehicles.
• Document repairs and complete warranty information.
• Carry out housekeeping and timely accurate documentation.
