Job summary

Oceanfront Dentistry in Downtown Vancouver is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and help maintain a safe, patient-centered environment.

We offer extended health benefits, RRSP matching, and a comprehensive rewards package. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Follow IPAC infection-control standards.
