Job summary

Oceanfront Dentistry, located in Downtown Vancouver, seeks a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and support patient care from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$30-$36/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.

About You:
