Job summary

Oceanfront Dentistry in Downtown Vancouver is seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Assistant to join our caring team. You will support dentists and hygienists, prepare rooms and instruments, take X-rays, and uphold IPAC standards.

You must be registered with your provincial regulatory body as an RDA or CDA and have prior dental assisting experience. We offer extended health benefits, competitive pay, RRSP matching, and a supportive environment focused on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures.

• Perform instrument sterilization and IPAC standards compliance.
• Update patient charts and provide oral hygiene education.
• Support scheduling, patient flow and administrative tasks.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$30-$36/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour

About You:

• Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired
• Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
