Job summary

Landmark Dental Centre in Kelowna, BC is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X-rays, and maintain infection control while delivering compassionate patient care in a modern clinic.

Our schedule runs Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm with no evenings or weekends. We offer competitive pay, RRSP matching, extended medical benefits, uniform, parking, and access to our Employee and Family Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $32-$35/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
