Job summary
Fountain Tire Didsbury is looking for a skilled and Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose vehicle issues, perform repairs, and complete scheduled maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
We offer market-leading wages ($38 to $42 per hour based on experience) plus a $1,500 signing bonus, comprehensive health, dental and vision benefits, and a retirement savings plan with company matching.
Qualifications
- Must hold Licensed/Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
- Strong knowledge of automotive industry and ability to service customers.
- Diagnostic specialist with up-to-date knowledge of modern vehicle technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and commitment to customer experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving abstract annually.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
- Perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
- Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrications, tune-ups).
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair needs.
- Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regular schedule.
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a safe manner.
- Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries.
