Job summary

Volkswagen Unionville is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles running on electricity, gasoline, or alternative fuels. You will perform tire rotations, oil changes, diagnose complex issues, and plan repairs, ensuring first-time fix and customer satisfaction.

The role requires four years of direct automotive repair experience, a technician license, and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

  • Four years of direct work experience in automotive repairs and service.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and valid technician license.
  • Knowledge of various vehicle service needs and diagnostic equipment use.

Responsibilities

  • Detect and diagnose vehicle problems per customer complaints.
  • Inspect and road test recently delivered vehicles.
  • Follow Federal/Provincial regulations and bylaws; observe safety rules.
  • Notify Service Consultant/Foreman if additional work is required or deadlines change.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are clean and report incidents affecting appearance.
  • Attend manufacturer training to stay updated on products.
