Job summary

Country Hills Volkswagen, part of the Dilawri Group of Companies, is seeking an Automotive Journeyman Technician eager to contribute to a growing team in Calgary, Alberta. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and inspections with a focus on quality workmanship and safety.

The role requires a valid automotive trade certification (or 3rd/4th year apprentice) and experience with import/European or luxury vehicles.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician Trade certification required or pending.
• Third/fourth year apprentice considered with right attitude.
• Experience with import, European or luxury vehicles is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality workmanship, diagnostics and repair per standards.
• Perform new vehicle pre-delivery inspection to factory standards.
• Report mechanical or safety deficiencies not in the repair order.
• Refer to images/videos to identify required repairs.
• Road-test to identify issues and verify repairs are complete.
• Provide service advisors with maintenance and labor estimates.
• Record cause and correction in dealership software on repair orders.
• Complete technician portion and related inspection forms.
• Follow manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
