AWIN - Volkswagen Unionville in Ontario is seeking Licensed Automotive Technicians to join our team. The role involves inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles powered by electricity, gasoline, or diesel, following manufacturer procedures and ensuring first-time fixes.

You will perform tire rotations and oil changes, diagnose complex problems, and test vehicles. We offer excellent benefits, training, and growth opportunities within our automotive group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear Driver’s Abstract.
• Technician's License.
• Ontario College of Trades membership.
• Knowledge and use of power, machine, and hand tools.
• Four years of direct work experience in automotive repairs.

Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose vehicle problems as per the customer’s complaints.
• Inspect and road test recently delivered vehicles.
• Notify the Service Consultant and Shop Foreman if additional work is required.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes and use diagnostic equipment.
