Job Title: Library Systems Coordinator – Technical & Resource Support E
Salary: $84,393.00 plus extensive benefits and municipal pension
Hours: 7 hours per day, Monday-Friday
Location: 100% in-person at the PRCVI office
The Vancouver School Board is one of Canada’s most diverse school systems. It provides learning experiences for more than 7,700 staff and supports equity and inclusivity across its community. The PRCVI is a Provincial Outreach Program funded by the Ministry of Education and Child Care and is hosted by the VSB. It provides learning resources, leadership, information, training, and consultation to support BC schools’ equitable access for students with visual impairments.
As Library Systems Coordinator, you will provide technical and resource support to PRCVI. Responsibilities include managing libraries, maintaining databases, coordinating alternate format production, liaising with staff and vendors, and ensuring data integrity. You will also manage the library’s acquisitions, metadata, and catalogue systems, and lead projects related to technology enhancements.
The base salary is $84,393.00 plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Municipal Pension Plan, Vancouver Employee Savings Plan, Extended Health, Dental, Group Life, Long-Term Disability, vacation and gratuity days.
