Job summary

Bruce County’s Wiarton Library is looking for a Student Library Page to help with shelving, organizing the collection, assisting patrons, and supporting Library Clerks. This entry‑level role provides hands‑on experience in a public library setting.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a secondary school program with strong numeracy and literacy, and good verbal and written communication. Part‑time hours (12/week) at CAD 16.85/hour, with vacation pay and EFAP offered.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Lead Branch Supervisor, the Library Page assists with basic library duties, including shelving materials, organizing the collection, assisting patrons, cleaning areas of the branch as needed, and assisting Library Clerks with any other duties as needed (e.g. weeding, crafts, etc.).
