Job summary

Dawson Dental Cambridge is hiring a Dental Assistant to prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and manage patient flow. The role involves taking X-rays, chart updates, and maintaining IPAC standards in a patient-centered practice.

We offer a supportive team, opportunities to grow, and a replacement position with a wage range of $25.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and location. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Commitment to patient care and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$25.00 - $28.00/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
