Job summary

CAPREIT in Edmonton seeks a Leasing Specialist to manage the end-to-end leasing process, from first inquiry to onboarding new residents. You will build relationships with prospective tenants and ensure a smooth move-in experience.

You will monitor vacancies, achieve leasing targets, collect payments, and coordinate maintenance as needed, while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident.
• Proactively monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets.
• Collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves and maintenance requests.
