Job summary

CAPREIT is seeking a Leasing Specialist to act as the frontline liaison, building strong relationships with prospective and current residents and delivering leasing excellence. You will own the leasing process from inquiry through onboarding, while proactively monitoring vacancies and meeting leasing targets.

The role involves collecting payments, inspecting properties and coordinating moves and maintenance requests, with occasional evening and weekend hours to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you need to succeed:
