Job summary

CAPREIT is seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our residential property management team in Canada. You will build strong relationships with residents, own the leasing process, and monitor vacancies to meet targets.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service or related fields, a high school diploma, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver's license. Some locations may require travel with reimbursement for mileage.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation may be required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships as frontline liaison and deliver excellence to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Own the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident; monitor vacancies and leasing targets.
• Collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate moves and maintenance requests.
