Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Leasing Specialist to rent, market, and maintain positive resident relations across communities. You will greet prospects, qualify leads, and handle applications and deposits while delivering excellent service to residents and staff.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency with Yardi Voyager, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or customer relations experience.
• Experience with low-income housing and tax credits is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects.
• Record all visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community features and apply product knowledge to prospect needs; close the sale.
• Have the prospect complete the application and secure a deposit.
• Update availability and process applications for approvals.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on the agreed date.
• Follow up on prospects who did not close and refer to sister communities when needed.
• Assist in renewal notices and documentation in the system.
• Maintain resident files and input lease information in Yardi.
