The role covers tenant and broker outreach, property tours, leasing documentation, and market research, reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Properties. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of commercial real estate leasing experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach to outreach to tenants and brokers.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of commercial real estate leasing experience preferred.
• Strong interest in commercial real estate and retail leasing.
• Confident with cold calling, door knocking and approaching prospective tenants.
• Strong communication, organization and follow-up skills.
• Professional and comfortable interacting with tenants and brokers.
• Knowledge of commercial leasing and ability to read floor plans are assets.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day commercial leasing activities and maintain leasing pipelines and availability information.
• Respond to prospective tenant and broker inquiries and coordinate follow-up.
• Conduct cold calling, door knocking and direct outreach to prospective retail tenants.
• Maintain relationships and regular communication with commercial brokers.
• Coordinate and conduct property tours.
• Assist with leasing proposals, letters of intent, deal summaries and lease documentation.
• Maintain prospect lists, leasing trackers and transaction records.
• Assist with the handover of completed leasing transactions to the appropriate internal teams.
• Research competing properties, rental rates and prospective tenants.
• Coordinate leasing matters with Legal, Development, Construction, Property Management and Marketing.

We are seeking a motivated and organized Leasing Manager/Senior Manager to join our Commercial Properties team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Properties, this role supports commercial leasing activities including tenant and broker outreach, property tours, leasing documentation, marketing, market research and deal tracking. The successful candidate will be outgoing, professional and comfortable with cold calls and door-to-door canvassing of prospective retail tenants, as well as direct outreach to commercial brokers.
