Akelius Real Estate Management in Ottawa is seeking a Leasing Manager to lease residential units and deliver outstanding customer service to maximize occupancy and resident retention.

The role requires bilingual English and French, weekend availability, and strong skills in negotiation, communication, and Excel. You will manage showings, assemble applications, prepare leases, and coordinate the move-in process, while monitoring pricing and market trends. Experience with Yardi is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years or more of experience in residential leasing.
• Bilingual in English and French required.
• Availability including weekends required.
• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent (GED) required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Creative and an excellent negotiator.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Organizational and administrative skills.
• Availability to work weekends, as needed or directed.
• Experience with Yardi is a plus.

What we offer:

Full-time permanent position
Competitive salary based on experience $50,000 to $55,000 + commissions
