Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed property information.
  • Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants with support of Leasing Manager/Legal Counsel.
  • Coordinate and facilitate lease signings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for current tenants and prospective tenants.
  • Provide regular reports on occupancy rates, lease renewals, and other performance metrics.
  • Handle lease renewals and ensure timely communication with tenants regarding lease expiration.
  • Assist in creating retention strategies to ensure tenants renew leases.
  • Maintain organized records of lease agreements, addenda, and related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations regarding leasing and property management.
  • Work closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and legal professionals to ensure smooth leasing operations.

The Armour Group is currently seeking a Commercial Leasing Associate. The Commercial Leasing Associate will play a pivotal role in the leasing operations of our growing commercial portfolio which includes among others, the Queen’s Marque district, Historic Properties, Westway Park in Bedford, Park Place campus in Dartmouth, and our medical buildings.

As our Commercial Leasing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in our leasing operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct property tours for potential tenants and provide detailed property information
  • Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants with support of Leasing Manager/Legal Counsel
  • Coordinate and facilitate lease signings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for current tenants and prospective tenants.
  • Provide regular reports on occupancy rates, lease renewals, and other performance metrics.

  • Work closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and legal professionals to ensure smooth leasing operations.
  • Other similar and related duties as required from time to time.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in commercial real estate leasing or property management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with lease negotiations, tenant management, and commercial property marketing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, tenants, and colleagues.
  • Negotiation skills to handle lease terms and resolve disputes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and property management software.
  • Ability to conduct market research and prepare reports.
  • Attention to detail, especially in legal documents and lease terms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
