Job summary

AWIN - Volkswagen Unionville in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Lease Portfolio Manager to lead the renewal portfolio and drive performance at our Volkswagen Unionville dealership. You will create and maintain renewal communications, track performance, and coordinate end-of-lease processes to ensure successful returns.

The role requires automotive industry experience, strong business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the Lease Renewal Portfolio and achieve targets set by management.
• Create and maintain renewal communications to customers within required timelines.
• Develop a renewal tracking sheet to visualize portfolio performance and individual results.
• Analyze renewal outcomes to identify trends and opportunities.
• Coordinate end-of-lease processes to ensure policy compliance.
• Notify Acura FS of all returns and manage post-lease workflows.
• Guide the Pre-Owned Manager on returned vehicles.
• Maintain above-national-average ISI and an 80% return rate.

Job Purpose

Lease Portfolio Managers manage and provide visibility to the Lease Portfolio Renewal performance, to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets as laid out by the dealership.

• Take full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the Lease Renewal Portfolio, including achieving targets set out by the General Sales Manager, ensure the end of lease process occurs and create visibility and performance of the renewal percentage of all the sales staff.
• Create and maintain relevant and strategic correspondence to be sent to customers within the timelines laid out by the dealership.
• Create and maintain a “Renewal Spreadsheet” that provides performance visibility on the portfolio as a whole, and also visibility to individual performances.
• Track and analyze renewal outcomes to determine trends and areas of opportunity
• Facilitate convenient return of leased vehicles to the dealership by ensuring our end of lease process is being followed in accordance to company policy.
• Ensure that appropriate paperwork is completed for all Lease Returns and the Acura FS is notified of all returns.
• Ensure that all vehicles returned off leases are parked on the apportioned area of the rear parking lot.
• Advise the Pre‑Owned Manager of any vehicles returned from end of leases.
• Maintain an above National Average for ISI and return rate of 80%

Salary Range: This is a commission based position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Minimum of 1 - 3 years of previous management experience in the automotive industry.
• Clear Driver’s Abstract.
• Valid OMVIC registration.
• Strong business acumen.
• Professional appearance.
• Proficient with 180, CDK and Reynolds systems; ability to operate PC-based software.
• Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objectives.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
