Job summary

Rush Truck Centres of Canada, located in Mississauga, is seeking a Lease Account Manager to sell and maintain Full Service Lease and Contract Maintenance for our Idealease network. You will report to the Director of Idealease and drive leasing and rental solutions across our dealership network.

The role requires a high school diploma (college preferred), 2+ years in commercial vehicle leasing, strong interpersonal and sales skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in commercial vehicle leasing or similar industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college/post-secondary education preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills; outgoing, self-motivated.
• Sound decision making, problem solving and time management.
• Competency with customer service, administrative tasks, and general software/PC use.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting insurability.
• Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OHSA compliance and safety policy adherence.
• Prospect for new customers by cold calling, mailers, and other methods.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers; conduct annual reviews.
• Manage receivables for assigned accounts.
• Track activity using Outlook or related prospecting tools.
• Submit monthly reports, pipelines, and proposals to leadership.
• Utilize software tools to assist in the sales process.
• Maintain customer files focusing on replacement opportunities.
• Coordinate with maintenance, rental, and admin departments on accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Lease Account Manager is responsible for the sale and maintenance of existing accounts for the Full Service Lease and Contract Maintenance product lines. Reporting to the Director of Idealease , the Lease Account Manager will also ensure they offer our customers complete truck leasing and rental solutions across our network of dealerships. This role is based out of our Idealease location at 425 Gibraltar Dr, Mississauga, ON L5T 2S9.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
• Prospect for new customers via cold calling, telephone solicitation, mailers, or any other means to grow the business.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers through personal visits and phone contacts, grow the business with these accounts, and perform annual reviews with each customer.
• Maintain receivables with each assigned account.
• Use Outlook or some comparable prospecting software to track customer and prospect activity.
• Turn in expense reports, pipelines and proposal recaps monthly to the District General Managers and National Sales Manager.
• Utilize all software to assist in the sales process, Lease vs. Own, Lease vs. Lease, Prospector, PowerPoint presentations, and Sales Suite.
• Maintain customer files with emphasis on replacement opportunities.
• Coordinate with maintenance manager, rental department and administration departments the handling of all assigned accounts.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. College or post-secondary education is preferred.
• Two years of experience in commercial vehicle leasing, or similar industry.
• or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills; outgoing, positive thinker and self-motivated.
• Sound decision making, problem solving and time management skills.
• Competency in the following areas required; customer service, administrative skills, team building, proficiency with software and computers.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Valid driver’s license and Driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Salary range up to $75, 000/yr base plus unlimited commission.
