Job description

Responsibilities

Training Development & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and deliver in-person, virtual and eLearning training solutions
  • Facilitate employee onboarding, workshops, and learning sessions
  • Customize learning programs to meet department-specific needs
  • Conduct learning needs assessments through interviews, surveys, and data analysis
  • Identify knowledge gaps and collaborate with L&D management to recommend training strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Develop engaging and interactive course materials, presentations, job aids, and eLearning modules
  • Source and curate external content to supplement learning resources
  • Assist in the administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking participation, reporting, and evaluations
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling and communication
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, assessments, and performance data
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies based on learner feedback and business outcomes
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities
  • Act as a resource for employees seeking development opportunities

Qualifications

Specific Knowledge & Skills (not preferred or an asset)

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in learning and development, training, or instructional design roles
  • Facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in instructional design tools and LMS platforms
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze data and report learning outcomes
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Continuous learning and adaptability
