Responsibilities
Training Development & Delivery
- Design, develop, and deliver in-person, virtual and eLearning training solutions
- Facilitate employee onboarding, workshops, and learning sessions
- Customize learning programs to meet department-specific needs
- Conduct learning needs assessments through interviews, surveys, and data analysis
- Identify knowledge gaps and collaborate with L&D management to recommend training strategies aligned with business objectives
- Develop engaging and interactive course materials, presentations, job aids, and eLearning modules
- Source and curate external content to supplement learning resources
- Assist in the administration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking participation, reporting, and evaluations
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling and communication
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using surveys, assessments, and performance data
- Implement continuous improvement strategies based on learner feedback and business outcomes
- Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- Act as a resource for employees seeking development opportunities
Qualifications
Specific Knowledge & Skills (not preferred or an asset)
- University degree or equivalent
- 2-4 years experience in learning and development, training, or instructional design roles
- Facilitation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in instructional design tools and LMS platforms
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and report learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the financial services industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
