The Online Learning & Continuing Education (OCE) is seeking a Learning Experience Developer to join its Continuing Education team.
The Learning Experience Developer creates engaging, accessible, and innovative online learning experiences for Continuing Education at the University of Alberta. Reporting to the Manager, Continuing Education Curriculum Strategy and Quality, the position works closely with the Instructional Designer and collaborates with academic leads, instructors, subject matter experts, and project teams throughout the course development lifecycle.
The position develops high-quality non-credit courses and digital learning assets, applying best practices in online and adult learning, accessibility, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Indigenous Initiatives, and Access, Community and Belonging (ACB).
The role is responsible for course development within learning management systems and course authoring tools, multimedia production, interactive learning activities, assessment integration, and quality assurance.
