Job summary

Liebherr Canada Ltd. in Burlington, ON is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator for a 12-month contract.

Reporting to the Manager of Learning and Development, you will support the implementation and facilitation of employee and leadership development programs, manage LMS platforms, and drive competency-based learning resources. You will design, deliver, and evaluate training solutions across formats, ensuring compliance and effective learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Researches, designs, develops, and delivers learning plans modules and manuals.
• Conducts needs analysis, surveys, and assessments to determine learning and development needs.
• Implements tools to evaluate training programs and prepares reports with recommendations to leadership.
• Develops, maintains, and reports on training and certification activities for all employees.
• Audits employee training status and certificates and updates management.
• Develops and reviews learning policies, processes, and practices.
• Oversees maintenance of training files to ensure compliance.
• Coordinates course schedules, attendance, records, and logistics.
• Administers the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Curies LMS content library and curriculum updates as needed.
• Coaches users on LMS and supporting training technologies.
• Creates and maintains learning paths on LMS and uploads content as required.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline administrative processes.
• Manages LMS platforms including content, paths, access, reporting, and support.
• Measures training effectiveness through data and feedback for continuous improvement.
• Monitors completion, compliance, and audit readiness for standards.
