Job description

Overview

The Learning Coordinator collaborates with key team members and clients to implement appropriate learning solutions. They assist in managing the effective execution of multiple projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. The role also involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, project team members, and external vendors.

What You Will Do
  1. Provide administrative support on various learning projects/programs.
  2. Consult with client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to analyze and define learning objectives and requirements.
  3. Meet course development milestones, ensuring the delivery of quality learning solutions that meet objectives.
  4. Assist with planning activities including scope, work definition, sequencing, scheduling, resource planning, risk management, and budgeting.
  5. Manage multiple tasks across projects effectively.
  6. Support project execution by participating in meetings, tracking milestones, maintaining documentation, resolving issues proactively, and analyzing survey results.
  7. Assist in managing project budgets by reviewing invoices and providing updates to course owners.
  8. Coordinate with external service providers and manage material translations if applicable.
  9. Develop and execute communication plans.
  10. Coordinate training setup in the Learning Management System (LMS) with the LMS team.
  11. Support additional tasks as needed to meet business requirements.

What You Bring To The Role
  • Post-secondary education in learning/adult education or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Learning and Development or similar, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint (skills will be tested).
  • Knowledge of LMS platforms like SuccessFactors and experience reporting within LMS.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and deadline-driven.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English at a business level.

This position requires fluency in English to support national training coordination and communication with English-speaking colleagues and provinces.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range is $46,500 to $70,500, potentially with bonuses. Salary within this range depends on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
