Qualifications

• Engineering degree with experience in consultation and transportation engineering within urban environments.
• Experience with multi-modal transportation, traffic engineering, and capacity analysis.
• Strong project management and understanding of municipal work processes.
• P.Eng designation from a Canadian jurisdiction; A.P.L Eng is a plus.
• Excellent communication and public engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transportation and mobility projects, including coordinating internal work and consultants and providing updates to the manager.
• Prepare conceptual and preliminary designs and conduct field inspections as required.
• Coordinate, review, and manage consultant work to meet project requirements.
• Review traffic and transportation modelling to support planning and development reviews.
• Lead meetings with developers, citizens, and council; communicate technical issues clearly.
