TG Minto Corporation in Palmerston, Ontario, seeks Lead Technicians to support high-quality injection molding production in a just-in-time environment. This on-site, full-time role offers growth opportunities within a Tier1 automotive supplier.

Starting wage is $20.55/hr with a $2 premium, plus overtime after 40 hours, shift premiums, and a comprehensive benefits package from Day 1.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $2 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)

General Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred–or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Afternoon Shift(2:00PM-10:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
