Job summary

OpenText in Canada is hiring a Senior Systems Administrator to design, deploy, and operate global enterprise infrastructure. You will serve as a trusted technical expert across Microsoft technologies, ensuring reliability and performance while delivering automation and scalable solutions.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in large environments, strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory, plus hands-on scripting and cloud/virtualization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 8+ years experience as a Senior Systems Administrator in a medium to large scale environment.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure, including implementing, troubleshooting, and administration of all the various services.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Expert knowledge in the administration of Windows infrastructure services incl. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File servers.
• Experience managing centralized configuration and patch management tools (eg. Configuration Manager).
• Proficient at scripting for automation or user management in PowerShell.
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid environment, Copilot, DLP, and Purview.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, VMware or Hyper‑V administration.

Salary Range:

$92, 320 - $138,480; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
