Job summary

WoodGreen Community Services is seeking a Supervisor for Supportive Housing Programs to oversee program operations, staff, and participant engagement in the North York area. This contract role requires collaboration with managers and housing staff to deliver on psychosocial supports, 24-hour staffing, life skills and tenancy supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of experience implementing programs for homeless/vulnerably housed older adults and seniors.
• 3+ years of experience supervising staff, preferably in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with implementing operational responsibilities of programs and initiatives.
• Provide daily oversight of program staff and assist with staff orientation.
• Work directly with participants to ensure program expectations are met.
• Support staff through team meetings, crises response, and problem-solving.
• Aid in training and supporting volunteers and students across activities.
• Assist in planning staff development and community outreach activities.
• Help develop and maintain partnerships and collaborative activities.
