Mercatto in downtown Toronto is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen leadership team. You will support the Chef and GM in day-to-day operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of every dish.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef and GM in leading day-to-day kitchen operations

• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and waste control
• Communicate effectively with dining room team to support smooth service
• Lead or support opening/closing responsibilities as required
• Contribute to a positive, cooperative kitchen environment
