PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Sudbury, Ontario is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site safety, coordinate trades, manage schedules and costs, and drive project execution.

You will mentor the team, liaison with clients and stakeholders, and ensure plans align with contract and scope while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role requires a Journeyman or engineering degree, 10 years’ field supervision experience, and strong scheduling and leadership skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or engineering degree; Gold Seal in CDN preferred.
• 10+ years of field supervision experience preferred.
• Supervised construction workforce.
• Deep knowledge of construction materials, specs, methods.
• Understand project scope; apply engineering principles to plans/schedules.
• Able to use scheduling software to build project plans.
• Coordinate multiple scopes with three-week lookahead.
• Understand OFW, LCRs, and cost reports.
• Understand contract language; mitigate risks & seize opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of safety/environmental rules.

Responsibilities

• Works with project manager to implement safety program on site.
• Directs and mentors project team; ensures performance and safety.
• Coordinates with engineers, estimators, and subcontractors.
• Develops project schedule, executes project plan, manages budget.
• Maintains strong client and stakeholder relationships.
