Job summary

PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia, is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on legacy projects across the province.

The role requires supervision, safety program implementation, scheduling and budget control, and strong stakeholder communication. Eligible candidates have a Journeyman certificate or engineering degree, and a track record of 10 years in field supervision. Compensation includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
• NCSO designation required; enrollment in the Gold Seal program preferred.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• Successfully supervised a construction workforce.
• Understanding of scheduling, cost reporting and contract language.

Responsibilities

• Implements the safety program on site and ensures compliance.
• Supervises, coaches, and mentors the project team.
• Coordinates with project manager, trades and client to meet schedule, budget and quality.
• Develops and updates Project Execution Plan and lookahead schedules.
• Manages risks and opportunities in contracts and subcontracts.
• Maintains project administration and stakeholder relationships.
