Job summary

FirstService Residential Canada is hiring a Security Concierge Supervisor to assist residents with information and services, while maintaining security and safety on site. This role demands self-motivation, strong communication, and organized work habits.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:00pm in Etobicoke, ON, $21.00/hour. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ontario Security Licence, have a solid high school education, and be ready to manage access for vendors, protect privacy, and document events.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Ontario Security Licence.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college-level courses in business/hospitality or security foundations are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and clarifies residents’ needs and desires, answers questions, gives directions and instructions.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and act quickly.
• Manages and screens messages.
• Schedules access for authorized vendors to provide services within units.
• Maintains guest privacy and organization reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining 2 personal networks.
• Enhances department and organizational reputation by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.
• Ensures all safety and access control procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
• Provide protection to clients, residents and property of the buildings we service; assist with inquiries as required.
• Observe floors and stairways to keep areas clear and doors secure; identify potential safety hazards.
• Enforce client rules and assist Police and Medical staff when required.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors and visitors.
• Perform routine property patrols and respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
• Maintain daily documentation and incident reports; use front desk software as required.
• Adhere to on-site procedures and company policies.
