Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Sandboxes in Canada to lead the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for secure isolated execution environments powering developers and AI agents.

You will partner with engineering, design, security, and GTM teams in a remote-first, distributed setup, engaging directly with developers and customers to shape workflows, performance, and cost tradeoffs. You will own the product area, translate complex tradeoffs into intuitive experiences, and

Qualifications

• Significant product leadership experience, combined with engineering background in systems, infrastructure, or cloud environments.
• Strong empathy for developers and ability to engage with users to understand needs and workflows.
• Knowledge of sandboxes, microVMs, containers, virtualization, and isolation/security boundaries.
• Understanding of Linux, container runtimes, orchestration, networking, storage, APIs, and cloud services.
• Experience building or operating systems that execute untrusted or AI-generated code at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own long-term vision, strategy, roadmap, revenue, adoption, and outcomes for the sandbox area.
• Develop deep understanding of developers, customers, and constraints they face.
• Engage with developers building AI agents, coding environments, CI/testing systems, and secure workloads.
• Translate complex infrastructure tradeoffs into simple, compelling product experiences.
• Set priorities, scope, and success metrics in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead iterative development with customers and teams to test, measure, learn, and improve.
• Drive initiatives to strengthen adoption, ecosystem integration, reliability, scalability, and revenue.
• Build relationships across the developer ecosystem and steer investments with feedback and market insights.
• Establish quarterly OKRs and progress reporting with accountability for major outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to make secure isolated execution accessible and valuable.
