Job summary

Greenhouse is seeking a Manager, Security Engineering in Canada to lead a dual Product and Corporate Security team. You will own strategy, roadmaps, and drive responsible AI adoption across security workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to secure product and enterprise systems.

You’ll build an AI-enabled security function, mentor engineers, and partner with Engineering, IT, Legal, and Compliance to reduce risk while enabling growth.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of security engineers and building high-performing teams.
• Extensive security engineering experience in fast-paced tech/B2B SaaS.
• Experience using AI to improve security workflows and responsible adoption.
• Strategic partnership with Engineering, Product, IT and other teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and roadmap across Product Security and Corporate Security.
• Build an AI-native security engineering team for end-to-end workflows.
• Strengthen Security Partner model and secure-by-default products.
• Oversee vulnerability management, pentesting, incident response, and abuse defenses.
• Drive identity/access management, endpoints, email, and detection initiatives.
• Establish responsible AI practices including data handling and oversight.
• Set goals, rhythms, and measure success; mentor engineers and foster ownership.
• Represent Security Engineering to R&D, IT, Legal, Compliance and leadership.
