Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Credit Origination & Adjudication to drive the digital transformation of Canadian Banking. You will translate user journeys into prioritized backlog deliverables, partner with nCino and other stakeholders, and oversee large, multi-faceted programs across Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and Engineering.

Qualifications

6+ years experience in financial services or building digital products.
End-to-end product delivery experience from inception to delivery.
Strong understanding of Commercial Banking policies and processes.
Ability to build trusted relationships, instill confidence and influence stakeholders.
Experience with financial products in investing and/or wealth management.
Ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems to drive value.
Knowledge across Product Management, Agile/Scrum, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Finance.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead agile product management to prioritize effectively and manage inter-dependencies across key scrum teams.
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
Prioritize and manage a dedicated backlog with partners across Commercial, Business Banking, Engineering, and Operations.
Lead and support the creation of new functionality through detailed user stories based on business requirements.
Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure an effective operating and delivery model.
Use data to drive decisions, building hypotheses, testing, and planning analytics inclusion in the roadmap.
Engage day to day with the scrum teams, answer questions and support decision making.
Plan for and consider reusability of Canada components in other markets.
Understand risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Champion a high-performance environment and mentor other product managers.
